About Us

Mr. Marckennedy Fils-Aime

Marckennedy’s Vision for the Young Adults will operate as a nonprofit agency providing mentorship programs for at-risk young adults in the Baltimore, Maryland area. To effectively achieve this, the program will form partnerships with local school districts, industry professionals, colleges, employment agencies, the juvenile court system, and other non-profit organizations. Marckennedy’s Vision for Young Adults aims to foster a commitment to high-risk youth by promoting pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reaffirming a sense of hope, dignity, and opportunity. Our focus on empowerment, inclusion, and equity allows us to guide participants through hands-on vocational training, career development, and upskilling programs designed to make them job-ready. Only through personal relationships and community support can a sense of individual responsibility and self-sufficiency be re-established. Through collaboration, outreach, and sustainable impact, we strive to provide access to education, growth, and real transformation—offering a hand up, not a hand out, and helping young adults walk the path to adulthood with confidence and pride.

The-Mission:

Through repeated failures in the classroom and the development of destructive habits, at-risk young adults often lose faith in the future and the opportunities that await them if they choose to change direction. To achieve transformation, these individuals must be surrounded by a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes personal growth, dignity, and self-respect. Our mission is to empower at-risk young adults—whether from high school, trade school, or college—by guiding them into the real world through mentorship, continuing education, vocational training, and hands-on skill-building. By offering access to career pathways, workforce development, and life-changing support, we aim to build job-ready, self-sufficient individuals prepared for lasting success and impact within their communities.

The-objective:

Marckennedy’s Vision for the Young Adults will provide mentorship, life guidance, and essential training skills to at-risk young adults who are ready to make a positive change in their lives. Our program will build strong partnerships and serve as a driving force for transformation within the local community. Marckennedy’s Vision will be a place of refuge, peace, and opportunity for those who may feel pressured to turn to gangs, prostitution, robbery, or drugs after graduation due to a lack of support. By offering empowerment, love, and consistent outreach, we aim to provide the help, guidance, and dignity that many of these individuals may not receive at home—or at all. Through hands-on mentorship, workforce development, and a commitment to inclusion and equity, we seek to prevent a problematic future and guide our young adults toward hope, self-sufficiency, and long-term prosperity.

The-Vision:

Marckennedy’s Vision for the Young Adults is committed to empowering impressionable, at-risk young adults to make positive changes early in their lives. Our program serves as a direct response to the rising number of youth—from honor graduates to those who have fallen through the cracks or become entangled with the court system. One of our primary goals is to identify at-risk individuals who have experienced turbulent upbringings and support their transition from high school to the workforce through mentorship, career guidance, and vocational training. We provide a strong support system that promotes self-sufficiency and prevents the pitfalls—such as crime, substance abuse, or hopelessness—that too often derail their futures. We believe in the philosophy: “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” While our approach may vary based on individual needs, our vision remains unchanged: to create lasting impact by empowering young adults with the skills, opportunity, and support necessary for sustainable success and transformation.
